All I Want Is You, Lord

All I Want Is You, Lord

There comes a moment in life when the heart stops running after answers and simply whispers, “Jesus, I trust You.” It’s the moment when the soul becomes quiet—not because everything is figured out, but because it has found its home in Him.

In the Gospels, Jesus never forced anyone to follow Him. He just walked by and said, “Come, follow me.” And somehow, those simple words had the power to make people leave their boats, their jobs, even their fears. They didn’t know where He was going. But they knew who He was.

That’s what surrender is. Not having the map, but holding the hand.

To follow Jesus is not about being perfect. It’s about being in love. Love that stays even when the road is rocky. Love that keeps walking, even when the night is long. Love that says, “Not my will, but Yours.”

Sometimes we feel like Peter—bold, passionate, and then suddenly scared by the waves. But Jesus still looks at us with those eyes that say, “Why did you doubt? I’ve got you.” And we realize, we don’t need to understand everything. We just need to stay close.

True surrender is not dramatic. It is quiet. It is deep. It is personal. It’s waking up each day and saying, “Lord, take my little, take my broken, take my ordinary—and make it Yours.”

Because when Jesus takes over, even the smallest yes becomes beautiful.

So here I am, Lord. Not because I am worthy. Not because I am strong. But because I am Yours. And that is enough.

All I want is You, Lord. Just You. Always You.
