Jesus, you are so gentle in your words. You invite me to ask, and you promise that I will receive. You tell me to seek, and you assure me that I will find. You tell me to knock, and you open the door with a smile. You speak with such warmth, with such tenderness, that my heart feels safe with you.
You do not make love complicated. You do not make me beg. You remind me that the Father is already waiting, eager to give, eager to bless. You tell me that if even ordinary people give good things to their children, how much more will the Father give to those who trust in him. Your words wrap around me like an embrace, reminding me that I am loved beyond measure.
Jesus, you love with open hands. You never hold back, never measure, never count the cost. You give because love is your nature. You do not just tell me to ask – you ask the Father for me. You do not just tell me to seek – you seek me when I am lost. You do not just tell me to knock – you knock on the door of my heart, always patient, always waiting, never forcing your way in.
Teach me to love as you love. To ask, not just for myself, but for those who need you. To seek, not just for answers, but for hearts that are hurting. To knock, not just for doors to open for me, but for the doors of others who long to be seen and loved.
Jesus, make my heart like yours – wide open, trusting, fearless in love. Let me give without hesitation. Let me love without limits. Let me live each day with the certainty that I am held, cherished, and known. And when I ask, when I seek, when I knock, let it always lead me deeper into your heart.
