Finding oneself in HIM

Finding oneself in HIM

Luke 9:22-25

Lord Jesus, you speak of your suffering, your rejection, and the cross that awaits you. It is not easy to hear. The world tells me that success means avoiding pain, holding on to what I can, and proving my worth. But you do not waver. You accept your path with love, and you invite me to walk with you.

You ask me to let go of what is small and fleeting so that I can hold onto what is eternal. But I hesitate. I cling to my own plans, my own desires, afraid of what I might lose. Yet your words stay with me. What does it profit me to gain the whole world but lose myself?

You are the way, the truth, and the life. In you, I see what it means to be truly alive. Not in what I achieve or possess, but in how I love, how I give, how I become more like you.

Teach me to see as you see. To live without fear of losing what was never meant to last. To trust that in surrender there is freedom, in giving there is abundance. In you, nothing is ever truly lost—only found.
