(Mark 10:1-12)
Jesus, I see You as a patient and wise Teacher. The Pharisees come to test You, trying to trap You with their questions. But You do not argue or get angry. You do not rush to prove them wrong. Instead, You answer with calmness, with clarity, with truth. You lift their minds beyond rules and debates and invite them to see the heart of God.
Lord, how beautiful is this quality in You—this gentleness in teaching, this deep wisdom that does not force but invites. You do not crush those who question; You guide them. You do not silence them with power; You lead them with truth. You teach, not to win an argument, but to reveal the beauty of God’s plan.
Jesus, I long to be like You. Teach me to speak with the same wisdom and peace. When people challenge me, let me not react with impatience or pride, but with a heart that listens. When I share the truth, let me do it with kindness, not to prove myself, but to help others see.
Give me a heart like Yours, Lord—a heart that is firm but never harsh, strong but always gentle, confident but full of love. May I reflect Your wisdom, not just in what I say, but in how I say it. May my words bring light, not burden; may they lift others up, not push them away.
Jesus, my Teacher, my Master, make me more like You.
