You and I are both one-of-a-kind. We were created to thrive in our own unique ways. This endeavour, however, is not without difficulty. In our daily lives, our differences are what produce uncertainty, misunderstanding, and disputes. These differences obstruct our ability to continue to thrive. Life, in any form, is to be valued. As a result, we must set aside objective forms of operating in our daily lives. This will only lead to unacceptance and hostility among us, society’s living beings. We’re all invited to step outside of our limited comfort zones and into something bigger and nobler. This only works when people put their differences aside and allow for change to happen. This is not to say that we deny our individuality, but rather that we strive to contribute something of ourselves to a greater good with a willing and open heart.
Acceptance of one another creates a lovely community based on mutual love and understanding. We also delight God by taking into account each other’s ideas, suggestions, ideals, and flaws, for He has declared, “How good and beautiful it is when brothers live in unity” – Psalms 133:1. (NIV)
As a result, we not only make the world a more attractive place to live, but we also continue to prosper in our own unique ways.
